Well, here it is...
It's
that first blog post where I inevitably don't know what to say and will
probably come off sounding dumb but here it goes! I thought I'd start
off with a little about me and jump straight into the fun stuff in my
next post.
My name is Simone and I'm 29 years old. I absolutely love to read, I love watching movies and spending lazy weekends just doing nothing at all. I'd
love to one day be a published writer but until the day I am actually
brave enough to let someone else read any of my work that will remain a
distant dream. But in the mean time I'd love to share my thoughts on the many books I read and would love to hear other people's too. So feel free to speak up!
My
blog is called Procrastination By Imagination because I'm a big
believer in the power of escapism that reading and writing can give you,
but I'm also aware of the problems that can arise when you are stuck in
the rut of "I'll get up after just one more chapter."
I have no doubt that this blog will very quickly become my latest obsession and I apologise in advance for the endless rants and rambles that are sure to show up. But I would also love to spend some time getting to know my fellow bloggers and reading other people's blogs too, so if you have managed to stumble across my new little page and would like to say hello please be sure to do so and let me know what your page is so I can come and say hello.
In the mean time I am off to spend some time doing what I love and also think about which of the many books I've read that I'd like to share my thoughts on first.
